Sick again

I could not make it in to Table tennis on sunday morning as I was a little under the weather . It takes quite a lot to stop me going in as I am addicted to the game . This is a reminder to people who like a drink, never to drink between drinks ! ( aftershocks ) . There were times on sunday that had I owned a gun I would have cheerfully shot my self !! . Never again .

I don't think it was the Aftershocks - it sounds more like a case of a distinct lack of Jaffa Cakes. Your brain needs the Orangey Bits to function properly, especially when it comes to Table Tennis. We all know that it's vital to have good hand to eye co-ordination, and also biscuit to mouth intuition, to get ahead in this game.
So make sure you drink plenty of fluids next time you go on a binge, and dunk those biscuits . . .

That Steve Munns , He is barking mad !, I mean howl at the moon why don't you ? . He thinks I need orangey bits and biscuit to mouth intuition . Fruit cake or what ? . Oh I think I have said the wrong thing , I don't want to get him started on fruit cakes , it is bad enough he has a biscuit fixation ! .

Hmmmm, fruit cakes ! Never been a great fan of Fruit Cakes because they tend to break up when you dunk them in coffee and all the raisins rise to the surface making dribbling highly likely . . . that's why they always have fruit cake in old-people's homes - it looks like they've got dementia when in fact they are just trying to lap up the raisins between their teeth.

I have booked an appointment with a psychiatrist for you in the new year Steve . Until then just try and take it easy .

Hmmmm, I've duly noted that your spelling is not too bad for an old table tennis coach who keeps knocking back aftershocks at Christmas. No need for the psychiatrist as I'm already having lessons with his chief assistant on Monday evenings down at the Leisure Centre. I'm sure he'll iron out any problems with my attitude . . . .
