Dazed and confused
It is with regret that we shall be saying goodbye to David Adeniji very shortly , as he moves to Taunton in the next week or so . David has added a lot to the club, not least with his quick wit and ready humour . He tells me he is hoping to still make some of the sunday sessions! ,what dedication. Good luck in Somerset David , you will be missed by all the club members .

Welcome to our Club Secretary - Alan
Hi Alan. Nice of you to join us - that's makes a trilogy. There must be a hidden meaning there somewhere, but I'm sure Mick will come up with the answer.
In the light
It has been increasingly obvious in the cold light of day , that you Steve, have only joined the club to further extend your biscuit career ,and I believe table tennis is playing second fiddle to your constant munching!.The club as a whole would like to know how you keep your slim figure , whilst some of us more portly people have to shy away from biscuits ,for fear of putting on the pounds, yours in a jealous rage, MICK.
Biscuits . . . mmmm, luvvly jubbly
I'm starting a rating system for all the different biscuits that my team, the Trawlers, sample during our matches.
So far we have the following :-
Hobnobs 4 out of 5
Jaffa Cakes 5/5
Hazelnut Boasters 4/5
Crawfords Shortcake 3/5
I'm already drooling at the prospect of future matches refreshment offerings . . .
best wishes, from the Biscuit King

Heartbreaker
Watch out for young David White in the next couple of years, he is showing great promise at the moment . I think he will break a few hearts on the table tennis scene. He may be knee high to a grasshopper at the moment, but is already creating power from his small frame !.Well done David you have been working hard on your game.He is getting great support from his Dad,thanks Alan.

What it is and what it should never be
Brixham Table tennis club is a club that is serious about table tennis. Many of the players have got the work ethic ,and are trying hard to improve their game . These players are training several times a week. So hats off to them. I would like to see more players doing this !. Whilst we encourage and welcome new players to come in ,I would like to see only the people who are serious about Table tennis joining the club, we have a wealth of good coaches at the club, and I believe they are excellent at helping players to achieve their full potential ,beginners or otherwise. We have some promising juniors coming through at the moment, thanks to that work ethic !.Keep it up guys .

Hi Mick
Nice of you to join . . .
Just had a nose at your profile and I see you also like playing Chess and reading Lord of the Rings - snap.
I've actually read Lord of the Rings 14 times from cover to cover - not in one sitting mind you.
The films are terrific too.

Welcome to our new BLOG

Hi everyone. I've managed to set up this free BLOG using Google. We can use these pages to create our own little Community by allowing members of the Brixham Table Tennis Club (and their family & friends) to post up comments, photo's etc and interact with each other. Just remember that this is a Family Blog.
You will need to join the Blog to be able to leave comments. Please let me know if you want to join - hopefully, everyone in the club will join so that we can involve people in creating a better Table Tennis Club . . .
all the best,
