Bring it on home ( revisited ) .

Congratulations to David White ! , he has become the u 13 Devon county Champion . A superb performance at the age of eleven ! . He won all his group matches and then progressed to the semi-final , he duly swept aside his opponent in three straight games , winning 11-2 in the final leg with some prodigious forehand topspins . The final was a five leg, ebb and flow thriller . At two all and behind in the decider David decided to up a few gears and produced some stunning forehand loops . His opponent Ben Taylor dug in well with good use of long pimple on his backhand but was finally beaten by the ferocity of Davids attack ! . Well done David , the club is proud of you .

Match Reports

The Brixham Table Tennis Club website is stunning !

I've just stepped back and taken a long hard look at its contents and layout, and I've come to the conclusion that it's not bad at all. There are a few really good pages - the Tables being updated regularly is BRILLIANT, the latest NEWS, and all the results - but the best bits by far are the Match Reports. They are well written and give the whole site that special community spirit.

It certainly makes me proud to be a member of this wonderful club !

I'm sure we now have a firm foundation to improve the web site even more and take it onto a higher level; perhaps Carlo can get us some funding for a full-time webmaster !

You shook me !

It was very interesting watching David white play and beat Basil Edmonds and Steve Heath in his league match against Halwell c . The two players towered over him and have many more years experience than he does . Whilst the duo are playing at third division standard it was still a magnificent performance from David who has only been playing about nine months . Whilst the two players tried to make it difficult for David by playing the ball short and wide of his small frame , he was having none of it ! , Well done David .
